The USGA would like to set “Rebuilding the Walls” (Micah 7:11) as the 2024 theme for all local churches to follow.

EXPLANATION:

• This theme is to guide all local churches to mobilize all members to participate in pastoral work at their local churches.

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:

• The local churches to focus on the following areas of pastoral work:

  1. Promote the spirit of prayer (Jude 20)

     • Encourage more members to join the online prayers.

     • Encourage members to join the prayers before Sabbath services.

  2. Pastor the members’ faith based on the truth (Jude 20)

     • Deepen the members’ understanding of the ten basic beliefs. 

     • Provide daily Bible reading reference materials for members. 

     • Emphasize the importance of messages from the podium by providing sermon speaker training. 

  3. Keep members in God’s love (Jude 21)

     • Strengthen different fellowships in the church (Acts 2:42)

     • Care and reach out to lost sheep (Lk 15:3~7)

• Each local church council to utilize their monthly spiritual cultivation time to share with one another regarding this theme.

• USGA to upload all plans submitted by local churches (by January 31st, 2024) so that local churches can learn from one another.

• Announce this theme and overall plan to the congregation and encourage all members to strive towards this goal in this year.
